ALL First Edition Points Present!! Hardcover with its original boards. No dust jacket. Published by Doubleday, Page & Company: Garden City, New York. 1918. A TRUE First American Edition/First Printing/First State with ALL First Edition Points present! This rare treasure has some clearly visible wear/age, but is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition! The wear, however, should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE. The binding has some wear but still is holding tight and the pages are surprisingly crisp and clean! Some general/shelf wear along with creases/marks/scuffing/wear to the spine/corners/boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges, marks/wear to the edge/fore pages and creases/marks/wear to the pages, NOT affecting the text! Please note the wear that is present on the pages, particularly noticeable on certain pages! Please also note the considerable wear to the spine and boards! All of the wear previously mentioned is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. As mentioned before, there is some wear to the binding!
